Complete this three part survey to start shaping Carbondale’s future.

This activity is intended to collect thoughts and ideas about Carbondale as a part of the first round of engagement for the City’s comprehensive plan. Your voice matters! By providing input you will be part of an important plan to make Carbondale the best it can be.

Please share any responses to the questions in part 1 and hit “submit” when done. Please enter points on the map with comments in part 2. You do not need to answer all questions or do both parts. Introduction

This survey is part of the first round of public engagement for the PLAN Carbondale process. In Part 1: Big Ideas, you will be asked questions about Carbondale and given the opportunity to share your input on the present and future of your community. After you complete this part, please continue on to Part 2: Mapping Growth & Change. Once you are done with the mapping activity, please finish the survey by completing Part 3: Exit Questionnaire.

  • Places with historic or cultural significance
  • Places that are great the way they are today

GROW
(Enhance and Strengthen What’s There)

  • Good examples of recent development
  • Places appropriate for growth in the existing pattern
  • Improve existing parks or add greenway connections
  • Where sidewalks or other infrastructure should be improved

CHANGE
(Replace with Something New and Different)

  • Places where current land use or character should change
  • Places for new or revitalized Commercial Centers
  • Places for new or improved housing
  • Places where amenities or connections between places are needed

Steps
